Carol Anne Yarbrough serves as a Clinical Research Associate for Hart Clinical Consultants (HCC). In this role, Ms. Yarbrough is responsible for monitoring client clinical trials. As such, she will work directly with the sponsor company to ensure compliance with clinical trial protocol, make on-site visits as needed and maintain regular communication with clinical research coordinators. She will also ensure the scientific integrity of all data collected.

Ms. Yarbrough is a registered nurse with 25 years of interventional medical device industry experience and 20 years of clinical research experience in medical device trials. Her expertise includes project management, study design and execution, team leadership, monitoring data management, and quality management. She is an experienced manager of clinical research with excellent site management skills including site selection, site training, scheduling, thorough review of subject records, confirming data integrity, ensuring patient rights and safety, and compliance with all national regulations and guidelines.

Prior to HCC Ms. Yarbrough worked at CAY Clinical Consulting, where she provided independent consulting services for the development of clinical research programs and guidance on all aspects of clinical research studies from concept to completion and in monitoring of complex, multi-disciplinary research studies.

Before CAY Clinical Consulting, Ms. Yarbrough worked as Director of Clinical Programs at Northwest Clinical Research Group, a small boutique CRO, where she developed and executed investigational plans for First in Man, CE Mark, IDE, and post-market studies around the world for NCRG clients. Ms. Yarbrough has also served as Director, Clinical Affairs at several small start-up medical device companies, and served as Project Manager for Abbott Vascular and Boston Scientific.
Ms. Yarbrough graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in nursing and studied business management at Auburn University.
