Sr. Clinical Research Associate
Michelle Wagner has joined the Hart Clinical Consultant team as a Senior Clinical Research Associate. In this role Michelle is responsible for monitoring client clinical trials and will work with each sponsor company to ensure compliance with the clinical trial protocol and ensure the scientific integrity of all data collected. Michelle will perform on-site monitoring visits as needed and maintain regular communication with clinical research coordinators and sponsors alike.
Michelle Wagner is a Physician Assistant with a background in Cardiovascular and Neurovascular medicine encompassing many avenues of clinical and patient care including such roles as Physician Assistant in Cardiology and CT surgery, Sr. Field CRA for Abbott Vascular and the US Training Education Representative for Abbott Vascular across all product lines. Michelle also has a master’s degree in education with an emphasis on allied healthcare professionals and utilizes these methodologies and expertise in training investigators and educating staff on GCP and study protocols. In particular, during her role as Sr. CRA for Abbott Vascular Michelle provided site and study management for several trials across the Northeast/Midwest region, as well as focusing on enrollment initiatives. In this role Michelle also provided clinical, therapeutic, device and procedural expertise, performed clinical research site assessment to evaluate the expected performance level for a specific protocol and provided Clinical Research disciples including site initiation for studies, interim monitoring visits and final monitoring of clinical trials.
Michelle has also been involved as either a Physician Assistant or as a Clinical for Abbott Vascular in cardiac Cath lab and operating room procedures such as coronary stenting, carotid stenting, CABG, carotid endarterectomy and peripheral cases. Additionally, during her role as a US Training Education Rep Michelle managed hundreds of educational events for physicians, nurses and the sales teams and covered different products and therapies involving the carotid, peripheral and coronary space.
In conclusion, Michelle has a degree as a Physician Assistant from Alderson Broaddus College in Philippi, WV and a Master’s of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies with a Focus in Education and Leadership from Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa, AZ.
