Stan Reaves is Hart Clinical Consultant’s Chief Operating Officer. As such, he helps lead HCC’s consortium of highly-trained clinical research professionals to provide study sponsors with comprehensive regulatory and clinical support services, including: case proctoring, monitoring and audit functions and regulatory/submission guidance. Reaves is also responsible for HCC’s project management and training programs.

Reaves brings more than 27 years experience to his role, having received initial training at the U.S. Army School of Cardiovascular Technology at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. Reaves’ clinical trial experience and therapeutic areas of expertise include cardiovascular, endovascular and neurovascular intervention.

Prior to being named Chief Operations Officer, Reaves served as Director of Business Development for HCC, managing sales and marketing operations, and assisting with overall clinical trial operations.

Prior to joining HCC, Reaves spent seven years as a Sr. Field Clinical Research Associate with Abbott Vascular, providing clinical site management within the U.S. clinical trial operation group.

He also helped to implement the open heart and interventional cardiac program at a high-volume endovascular/cardiac cath lab in the Atlanta area, and also managed several other cardiac interventional labs in Atlanta.

Reaves is credentialed as an RCIS through Cardiovascular Credentialing International and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Stetson School of Business and Economics at Mercer University in Atlanta. He is also credentialed as a CCRP through the Society of Clinical Research Associates.
